Assassin Creed III is a 2012 activity experience computer game created by Ubisoft Montreal and distributed by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Microsoft Windows. It is the fifth significant portion in the Assassin's Creed series, and an immediate continuation of 2011's Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The game was delivered overall for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, starting in North America on October 30, 2012, with a Wii U and Microsoft Windows discharge in November 2012. A remastered variant of the game was delivered in 2019 for Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and in 2021 for Google Stadia. The plot is set in an imaginary history of genuine occasions and follows the centuries old battle between the Assassins, who battle to save harmony and choice, and the Templars, who want harmony through control. The outlining story is set in the 21st hundred years and elements series hero Desmond Miles who, with the guide of a machine known as the Animus, remembers the recollections of his progenitors to figure out how to deflect the 2012 end of the world.
